I’m Locked Out Of My Car In Oakland, Is It Safe To Do Lock Picking Myself?

I accidentally locked myself out of my car in Oakland. Should I call a locksmith for the lock picking, or can I do it myself?

You may think your saving yourself money by picking a lock yourself but actually it could end up costing you more than if you just called a locksmith service in the first place. You could end up doing serious damage to your car or maybe just leaving a big scratch on the door. It’s best to call a local company to-do the lock picking for you. I recommend http://www.mul-t-locksmithinc.com/oakland you can call them on (510) 554-8345. They can come to you within 30 minutes and they’re quite inexpensive.

Call a couple of Cab Companies. Many of them have means to open your locked car and they’re usually a few bucks cheaper than a locksmith. They usually respond faster also.

Check with your local police. A lot of the time they have someone who is trained to do this. If your car is a fairly new model, it isn’t likely you can get it open on your own without doing damage.
