I recieved my 2007 corolla with 2 master keys and I purchased another key. I was wondering if I could program that to a valet key or would I have to get a grey head (valet key)? Thank you.

I read in my car manual how to reprogram or “restart” the key, but I couldn’t get it to work. Does anybody know how to do this? Or is there possibly something else wrong with the key? It’s kind of important that I get it fixed because I only have one master key to get into my car. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I called and they told me it was going to be at least a few hours before the key works.
